Japji Sahib is a Sikh hymn about God composed by Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of the faith. It consists of the Mool Mantra as the beginning followed by 38 hymns and a final Salok at the end of this composition.
Five different Gurus contributed to the evening prayer Guru Nanak Dev, Guru Amar Das, Guru Ram Das, Guru Arjan Dev and Guru Gobind Singh. Each one enlightens another aspect of God.
